Education

Herbert L. (Larry) Klein received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1973 from the State University of New York. In 1974, he received his Master of Arts degree in Journalism from Syracuse University at the S. I. Newhouse school of Public Communications. Thereafter, he pursued a career in journalism – working for various newspapers and magazines.

In 1980, he received his JD degree from the Brooklyn Law School.

Background

Mr. Klein joined EXTTI in 2014 as Director of East Coast Operations after more than 30 years of experience as in-house counsel at American Express Company and then at the BMW Group of companies, handling labor and employment matters for both organizations. In addition, Larry served as Secretary and General Counsel for Clearview Cinema, a regional chain of movie exhibitors located in the greater New York metropolitan area.

Mr. Klein was named one of the top lawyers in the greater New York metropolitan area by both 201 Magazine and New York Magazine — achieving the highest peer review rating for legal ability and ethical standards awarded by Martindale-Hubbell.

He is a member of the New York Bar Association,  New Jersey Bar Association and  Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI).
