Mr. Robbins’ article, “Investigations in Hollywood – There’s No Business Like Show Business,” was published in The Daily Journal (January 19, 2024).

His similar article, “Investigations in Hollywood: It’s the Same, But Different,” was published in The AWI Journal (December 2022).

Mr. Robbins will participate in a panel concerning workplace investigation issues at the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s, Annual Labor & Employment Symposium in March, 2025.

On July 17, 2024,  Mr. Robbins presented at  an EEOC Webinar,  Empowering Employers to Confront Harassment.

2023

Mr. Robbins  presented at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Virtual Basics Program on July 18 2023.

Mr. Robbins spoke at the Los Angeles District Office of the EEOC on July 12, 2023.

Mr. Robbins presented at the Beverly Hills Bar Association on June 5, 2023.  The Topic: “Investigations in Hollywood: It’s the Same, But Different.”

Ms. Underwood presented at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Workplace Investigations Basics Virtual Seminar which will take place May 30, June 6, & June 13, 2023.

2022

Mr. Robbins presented at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Workplace Investigations Basics Virtual Seminar on December 6, 2022.

Ms. Evans will be teaching at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) National Training Institute in Niagara in June 2022.

Mr. Robbins taught the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) National Training Institute in Philadelphia from April 4 until April 8, 2022.

Ms. Evans was the Moderator for the January 26, 2022, Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Webinar titled Microaggressions or Dog Whistles? How to Differentiate and Investigate.

2021

On December 7, 2021, Mr. Robbins taught during part of the Association of Workplace Investigators Basics Virtual Seminar – which ran from November 30, December 7, December 14, 2021

 On September 15, 2021, Mr. Robbins presented a program for the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), “Investigating the Cuomo Investigation.”

On June 30, 2021, Dr. Sniderman presented at the AWI Webinar: Interactive Process and Reasonable Accommodations.

The weeks of June 14 and June 21, 2021, Mr. Robbins taught at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Virtual Training Institute.

On March 29, 2021, Mr. Robbins spoke about expert testimony relating to workplace investigations in a program presented for the California Lawyers Association (CLA).

On March 25, 2021, Mr. Robbins presented at a webinar sponsored by the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), “Being Deposed on Your Investigation: Strategies for Success.”

On January 12, 2021, Mr. Robbins presented at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Virtual Basics Program.

2020

On July 14 Mr. Robbins presented at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Workplace Investigations Basics Virtual Seminars.

Mr. Robbins spoke at an Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Webinar on June 23, 2020. The Webinar was entitled, “Managing an Investigation Practice in a Time of Uncertainty.”

Mr. Robbins presented a webinar on June 16, 2020 for the Labor & Employment Section of the California Lawyers Association.  The topic: ‘Banner is Toast (Apogee and Other NLRB Developments Affecting Workplace Investigations).”

Mr. Robbins taught as full time faculty at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Institute for Workplace Investigators  in Santa Barbara, California.  The Institute will took place February 24 to 28, 2020.

2019

Mr. Robbins taught as full time faculty at the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Institute for Workplace Investigators  in Vail,  Colorado from September 9- 13, 2019.  Then, he will teach at AWI’s Scottsdale, Arizona Institute, November 4 – 8, 2019.  For more information go to:  https://www.awi.org/page/awi_training_inst

Ms. Evans presented at the AWI Public Sector Basics program on July  29 , 2019 in Orange County. California.

On July 19, 2019 Mr. Robbins  presented at the Labor & Employment Section of the California Lawyers Association 2019 Annual Meeting.  Mr. Robbins presentation was on new California labor and employment laws.

On June 15, 2019 Mr. Robbins spoke at the California Lawyers Association 2019 Solo and Small Firm Summit.  The presentation covered California’s New Sexual Harassment Training Law and the Mechanics of Workplace Investigations.

On June 10, 2019,  Ms. Underwood and Mr. Robbins presented at an Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Webinar, “If Joe Biden was an Employee.”

Ms. Evans presented at the AWI Basics program on April 22,  2019, and July 25, 2019 in Los Angeles County,  California.

On May 18, 2019, Samantha Blake chaired he Southern California Mediation Association’s annual Employment Mediation Institute.  The theme is “Echoes of the Roar:  How #MeToo Continues to Impact Employment Mediators.”

On January 9, 2019, Mr. Robbins  presented on workplace investigation issues in a program sponsored by the Los Angeles County Bar Association Section of Labor & Employment Law.
